Katherine is a multi-passionate writer, editor, and content strategist who blends creativity with relentless curiosity and a data-driven approach to storytelling. She started as an enterprise reporter for the Santa Monica Mirror and Malibu Times before transitioning to freelance life. Her features and essays deliver narratives that reflect her personal obsessions: craft tequila and mezcal, destination dining, vintage cookbooks, plant-based eating, zero-proof spirits, and regenerative foodways. They also collaborate with purpose-driven brands that nourish our planet. Katherine is a writing mentor to children and teens at 826NYC with in-person workshops and editing students' work for quarterly chapbooks.

Katherine received a master's of fine arts in creative writing: nonfiction from The New School.
