Melyssa has worked as a professional writer for nearly 10 years. Since earning her degree in journalism and art, she has worked in a variety of media roles throughout her career, including graphic designer, publications manager, photographer, and web editor. She previously wrote a regular beer column for Santa Fe's Local Flavor magazine. She joined Static Media in 2023 to write about her favorite things in life: food, drink, and how they bring us together.
Education
Melyssa has two bachelor's degrees from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces: a B.A. in Journalism and a B.F.A. in Photography and Graphic Design.
